My name is Nicol Haycock, and I am a South African-Canadian graphic and digital designer and fine artist. Shaped by the experience of immigrating to Canada and growing up between cultures and with multiple languages, I developed an early sensitivity to nuance, language, and the many ways people communicate. In turn, this shaped the way I design: thoughtfully, empathetically and with intention. I have always been drawn to storytelling that feels human and honest.After high school, my passion for both art and for the parts of the world unfamiliar to me led me to travel. Travelling helped me gain hands-on life and work experience across diverse communities and environments. This global outlook is woven into every project I take on, where I balance bold concepts with clarity and visual storytelling.Alongside my design practice, I bring strong interpersonal and collaborative skills developed through seven years of managing people, working in team-based environments, and engaging directly with clients and customers across multiple industries. I thrive in collaborative spaces, bring energy and positivity wherever I work, and find fulfillment in learning alongside others.What you can expect working with me.
